Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Covershot governing your use of the Covershot iOS app (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Covershot uses AI to generate enhanced photos and photoshoot-style images from your photos.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

2. Subscriptions and billing

• Covershot offers auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock full-resolution results and include an AI generation allowance per renewal period. Without a subscription you receive a limited number of low-resolution, watermarked previews. Exact prices, periods, and any free trial are shown in the App before purchase, in your local currency.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• If a plan includes a free trial, the paid subscription starts when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Unused generations do not roll over between periods. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store policies; we cannot issue App Store refunds directly.

3. Results and availability

Generated results are stored on our servers for a maximum of 24 hours and are then deleted automatically. Save the shots you want to keep to your device within that window; we cannot recover results after they expire.

4. AI-generated content

Your shots are AI-generated images provided for personal, creative use. They may alter details of the original photo and are not a factual record of you or anyone else. You are responsible for how you use and share them.

5. Acceptable use

• Submit only photos you own or have permission to use.
• Do not use the App to create unlawful, infringing, harmful, hateful, or sexually explicit content, or to mislead or harm others.
• Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, watermarks, or security measures, and do not misuse, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App or our servers.

6. Intellectual property

You keep all rights to the photos you submit and, as between you and us, to the shots produced for you. You grant us the limited rights needed to process your photo and deliver your results. The App, its name, and branding are our property.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the prior 12 months.

8. Apple

This agreement is between you and Covershot only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. To the extent the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government restricted-parties list.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
